Caverna is an Italian film directed by Hannah Swayze & Daniel Contaldo.
A cyclops strangles a man and chases a princess through a forest. In a progressive theater workshop outside of Florence, students Giorgia and Lorenzo act out their dreams and childhood traumas, as teacher Alba pushes them to confront their inner myth.
The poster shows a cave as seen in the film, it stands for the mind and the fragmentary natures of dreams. Far inside the cave is the silhouette of a monster. The cat’s cradle emphasizes the dreamlike style of the film.
