Book

Shelter from the Storm is the title of Ken Buslay’s first book. It shows four series from different countries depicting various phases of the photographer’s life. The photographs alternate between documentary images, pictures of landscapes and numerous portraits of various companions, friends and lovers. Each series is accompanied by a text written by the photographer in which he describes the mood and emotional world at the time when taking the picture. The book has a classic hardcover with blue cloth binding and an embedded photo. The meticulous arrangement of the photographs on the pages creates a dialogue between the images which is characterized by a melancholic calmness.
