Sebastian Król aka Karwendel is a singer-songwriter from Hamburg. Blitze im Nichts (Lightning In A Void) is his second publication featuring song lyrics and poems. His work is characterized by transience and abstraction, which is reflected in both his music and his lyrics. In this volume, we use abstracted images of water to approach the topic. The cover was created in analog: the typographic design was dipped into water, so that the movement of the water distorts the letters. The arrangement of the poems and song lyrics follows the wave motion and the melody of the songs, creating a sonic world within the typography.
