COMEBACK is a solo exhibition by photographer Tim Bruening at the Horst-Janssen Museum in Oldenburg. In his work, the photographer explores the theme of cinema; showing images of stars on the red carpet in Cannes and at the Oldenburg Film Festival, accompanied by actual and soon-to-be film sets. As the icing on the cake, photographs of his grandma staged as various popular film characters are included in the exhibition. Together with Tim Bruening we planned and curated the exhibition. The exhibition logo is reminiscent of old film noir titles and can be found as a wall signage in the exhibition.
